I initially started working with Robbie taking photos for his business. After working with him a couple of times he asked me if I could take his family photos. I was ecstatic because portrait sessions are my specialty. It was a cold day in the fall, so I figured that the Garfield Park Conservatory would be the perfect location for this family session. If you haven't been to this conservatory, I highly recommend it! The workers and volunteers do such a great job of keeping all the plants happy and healthy.
Being around vibrant plants brings out a certain level of happiness. As we explored the conservatory together, their faces would light up when they saw a new kind of plant or something that peaked their interest. I was able to use all that happy energy to capture their photos. It made for a fun and quick session.
